How does microneedling work?

The Dermapen 4 glides over the skin to create millions of tiny micro channels in a six-minute procedure.

The micro channels (or tiny ‘wounds’) enable a bespoke and condition-specific cocktail of clinically graded, powerful nutrients to be delivered deep into the skin.

These tiny micro channels not only facilitate the delivery of nutrients. They also stimulate skin to heal itself and regenerate. The treatment will restore the skin barrier function. (Depletion of the skin barrier is a main cause of skin disorders).

The in-clinic procedure

A Dermapen 4 procedure treats the skin in 5 distinct steps:

Dermapen 4 glides over the skin, creating millions of tiny micro channels.
A bespoke and condition-specific cocktail of clinically graded, powerful nutrients are delivered deep into the skin.
A mild but powerful skin peel is applied, accelerating results because it too seeps through the micro channels into the correct dermal layer of skin.
A hyaluronic acid-impregnated mask is applied for 15 minutes to soothe and cool.
A powerful cocktail of vitamin topical cream, hyaluronic acid and a medical soothing cover-up.
